John Christopher Depp II was born on June 9, 1963 in the city of Owensboro, Kentucky. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Florida after his parents divorced when he was 16 years old, abandoned school a year later, hoping to succeed in the musician career. Depp established several garage bands, the most successful being The Kids, which once opened the concert of Iggy Pop. He began acting after a visit to his first wife, who introduced Depp to actor Nicolas Cage, who presented him to his impresario. Soon after, he knows his debut in 1984 with the film A Nightmare on Elm Street. In 1987, he became famous when he replaces Jeff Yagher with the role of undercover cop Tommy Hanson in the TV serial 21 Jump Street.

In 1990, after numerous films for teenagers, beginning a long relationship work and strong friendship with director Tim Burton, who came when he starred in Edward Scissorhands. After this magnificent success, Depp managed to create his own style, getting more and more gloomy very different roles, able to surprise both critics and the public.

He continued to gain popularity and fame after the second collaboration with Tim Burton in Ed Wood (1994). In 1997, he played an undercover FBI agent in Donnie Brasco, with Al Pacino. A year later, Johnny Depp appeared in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, directed by Terry Gilliam and then he played in the sience fiction The Astronaut's Wife. Nowadays he is an incredible and famous actor and in the same time a sexy man.
