Clive Owen was born on October 3, 1964, in Coventry. He attended the school "Binley Park Comprehensive" and began to appear in theatrical roles when he had 13 by playing the Artful Dodger in the production of "Oliver”.

Clive made his film debut in the British production Vroom (1988) in which he starred with David Thewlis, where are shown two friends who recondition a classic American car and embark on a long journey. In the next two years, Clive became a TV star after playing the Stephen Crane's role in "Chancer" (1990). His next project raised more eyebrows when he starred in Close My Eyes (1991), a film in which he played the role of an incestuous brother obsessed by his older sister.

The American public could see him later starring next to Catherine Zeta Jones in the television film The Return of the Native, at CBS. In 2005, Owen won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as Larry in Closer, directed by Mike Nichols film in which starred even Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Natalie Portman. Clive Owen is a fantastic actor and a very attractive man, who turns the mind of many women.
