DiCaprio is the son of an American author of comedies and has a German-Italian origin from his mother. It is said that the name was put under strong impression after seeing the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci when she visited Italy, and she was pregnant in that period.

After another 2 year break in 2010, DiCaprio once again is working with the director Martin Scorsesse in "Shutter Island." In the summer of that year, he is playing in the blockbuster "Inception". It is rumored that 2010 is the year of Leonardo DiCaprio, he has a good chance to be nominated, or finally to take the Oscar for one of the two films. The marvelous Actor takes another break for 2 years to prepare for his role in "Hoover", a film that will be directed by Clint Eastwood. DiCaprio is a fantastic fantastic actor, playing only extraordinary roles, enchanting our eyes with his exceptional movies.
