Enrique Miguel Iglesias Praysler was born on May 8, 1975 in Madrid, Spain. He is a Spanish singer, songwriter, producer and actor. Iglesias began his career under the pseudonym Enrique Martinez and worked with the Mexican record company «FonoMusic». Currently, Enrique has been nominated as one of the most famous representatives of Latino –American music in the world, and he was awarded Grammy and American Music Awards. During his career, Enrique released over 40 singles and nine studio albums, which became 116 times platinum, 227 gold. Henry is Julio Iglesias’s son and the younger brother Julio Iglesias, Jr. He comes from a very respectful Spanish family: his father is Julio Iglesias and his mother is a Philippines journalist Isabel Preysler. Henry became the third and last child in the family. When Enrique was 3 years old, his parents divorced and he and his sister Maria and brother Julio stayed with his mother in Madrid, and his father moved to write songs in Miami, USA. Since his mother had a lot of work, the nurse brought him up. Also in childhood Iglesias was a little crazy. When Enrique was a teenager, he and his brother Julio dreamed of becoming a singer, and at the age of 16 , he wrote the lyrics for songs of their debut album. The album became popular in Spain, Portugal and Italy. In 1997, Enrique released his second album «Vivir». The same year, Iglesias went on a tour «Vivir Tour», where he worked with the best musicians Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. Enrique gave 78 concerts . At the end of the year along with his father, Enrique Iglesias and Luis Miguel were nominated for the prestigious award «American Music Awards» in the nomination "The Best Latin American singer." In 2000, Henry went on a world tour «Bailamos World Tour». On July 12, 2007, he released a new album Insomniac. In 2010, Iglesias included his song «It Must Be Love» in the collection «Download to Donate for Haiti. Money from sales of the collection was donated to the Haitian victims of the earthquake in 2010. Speaking about his private life, Henry repeatedly said that he could not be with a woman more than a week . Still, Enrique ‘s greatest love became the tennis star Anna Kournikova .
